In 2000 this applet was added to the front page of Scottish Law Online. It was quite popular but many computers at the time were unable to handle the load on their memory. As you can imagine, this was a little bit of a barrier for people accessing the site so it had to go. As computers have now improved quite a bit since then, I've added it back to the site but have also added another picture for you to play with here. The front page that this originally appeared on has been reproduced here. This was one of the first Scottish Law Online front pages. The applet is from Durius.com.
